Partypoker is returning to Russia in September to host a $5m Guaranteed MILLIONS event, and after customer feedback, all online MTTs will now be 8-handed.
There was nothing fake about the news emanating from Russia that partypoker Live smashed the $1m guarantee during their recent hosting of the $1,100 Million event in Sochi. By the end of the tournament, 1,170 entrants had created a $1,134,900 prize pool, and the Ukrainian Dmitry Chop walked away with the $225,000 winners purse.
Partypoker will host a $5m guaranteed MILLIONS event with $1m guaranteed for the winner. The event takes place Sep 1 – 11, and just like the MILLIONS event that will create a millionaire in Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) in a few weeks time, there is a myriad of ways to book your seat.
You have the ability to buy-in for $550 either online or live and compete in Phase 1 events. If you want to bypass the preliminary rounds and head to the ding, ding, ding, then you can buy-in directly to Day 1 for $5,000. There will also be chances to satellite into the event via online qualifiers hosted on partypoker.
The news comes a week after partypoker announced the hiring of Global Poker League (GPL) Moscow Wolverines Team Manager, Anatoly Filatov, and he will be a busy boy promoting the event in the months to come.

The gloves are off.
After a beta test phase, and some pushing from partypoker Ambassador, Patrick Leonard, the online giants have moved to 8-handed tables for their online action, and it seems to have gone down a storm.
