ladbrokes-gala-coral-sheriff-mdi-genesis-gaming-medialivecasinoWhen UK bookies Ladbrokes released their 2012 financial report last month, CEO Richard Glynn said he was planning a 10-fold increase in the number of Lads betting shops equipped with Sky Sports screens. True to his word, Ladbrokes has entered into a multi-year agreement with BSkyB to broadcast Sky Sports in all 2,488 betting shops in the UK. Newly created video walls will be going up in the shops with content tailored toward local customer preferences.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ladbrokes has also re-upped with Satellite Information Services (SIS). The new five-year multi-channel content, production and distribution deal will see SIS Betting provide an additional third channel of content as well as dedicated voice-over booth, bespoke graphics and audio prep areas, plus a remote camera based at Ladbrokes’ north London HQ, via which Lads execs can occasionally break into the programming to drop their pants and moon the punters.

Gala Coral Group has become the second land-based betting operator to add Sherriff Gaming’s 3D game titles to their land-based terminals. Last month, Sheriff inked Dutch slot giant Janshen-Hahnraths Group and now Sheriff will have a presence on UK-based betting terminals. Sheriff spokesman Eric Roskamp said the company couldn’t be happier with the response it’s received since making its pitch to land-based operators at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming show.

Software developers Genesis Gaming have inked a deal to produce bespoke video slot games for device maker/online gambling/social gaming outfit and generally dysfunctional corporate family International Game Technology (IGT). The products that emerge via the multi-game deal will be exclusive to IGT. Richard Valiquette, director of IGT’s content publishing division IGT Partners, said Genesis’ content was “consistent with the standards we have for our portfolio.”

MDI Entertainment, a subsidiary of IGT competitor Scientific Games Corporation, has re-upped with Hasbro Inc. The multi-year extension means MDI retains its exclusive global rights to instant lottery, terminal and digital games featuring well-known Hasbro brands like Monopoly, Scrabble, Battleship and a host of other titles.

Italian live dealer casino specialists Medialivecasino have signed on to supply gaming provider Labgame with a live casino product. Labgame, which provides services for Italian firms including Italy Betting, Mondial Bowling Ciampino and Skirmony, said it chose Medialivecasino in part due to its all-HD set up and also for its exclusive right to broadcast live roulette from land-based Casino di Sanremo.

Malta-based software supplier World Match Ltd. has inked a deal to burnish its platform with real-money fantasy football pool betting game SoccerClub from betting data services provider Sportradar. SoccerClub, which World Match described as having “unbeatable realism,” will join the existing casino, poker and betting products on the WM Cloud Gaming Center turnkey platform.
