True to his word, Ladbrokes has entered into a multi-year agreement with BSkyB to broadcast Sky Sports in all 2,488 betting shops in the UK. Newly created video walls will be going up in the shops with content tailored toward local customer preferences.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ladbrokes has also re-upped with Satellite Information Services (SIS). The new five-year multi-channel content, production and distribution deal will see SIS Betting provide an additional third channel of content as well as dedicated voice-over booth, bespoke graphics and audio prep areas, plus a remote camera based at Ladbrokes’ north London HQ, via which Lads execs can occasionally break into the programming to drop their pants and moon the punters.

Sheriff spokesman Eric Roskamp said the company couldn’t be happier with the response it’s received since making its pitch to land-based operators at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming show.

Software developers Genesis Gaming have inked a deal to produce bespoke video slot games for device maker/online gambling/social gaming outfit and generally dysfunctional corporate family International Game Technology (IGT). The products that emerge via the multi-game deal will be exclusive to IGT. Richard Valiquette, director of IGT’s content publishing division IGT Partners, said Genesis’ content was “consistent with the standards we have for our portfolio.”

MDI Entertainment, a subsidiary of IGT competitor Scientific Games Corporation, has re-upped with Hasbro Inc. The multi-year extension means MDI retains its exclusive global rights to instant lottery, terminal and digital games featuring well-known Hasbro brands like Monopoly, Scrabble, Battleship and a host of other titles.
