It’s still no clearer as to what will happen to Full Tilt Poker’s Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) license, as there is no news following the commencement of the hearing on Monday. There are a number of sites reporting differently on what is going on so here is a quick round up of what has been going down today.
✖ Gaming Intelligence (GI) is reporting that, contrary to what is written elsewhere, they have “learned” that the AGCC tribunal is still ongoing at the Riverside Park Plaza hotel in London meaning that it has run into a fifth day. They are “hoping” to make a decision today and it’s believed that the hearing could even run into Monday. eGR also confirmed on QuadJacks radio that the decision is expected on Monday with news likely to filter through the following day.
✖ GI also believe that the investor that is waiting in the wings goes by the name of Laurent Tapie and is the son of Bernard Tapie, the former owner of French soccer club Olympique Marseille and Adidas.
✖ The iGaming Post has reportedly been contacted by “someone claiming to be Mr Christopher Ferguson.” They have so far chosen not the publish the communication until they can verify the sender and it’s not likely that this information will come out before the AGCC makes their news public.
