The B2B arm of online bookmaker Pinnacle has inked its first client thanks to the company’s eSports betting experience.
On Thursday, Pinnacle Solution announced it had reached a deal with Asian BGE, part of the AsianLogic family of gambling brands and parent company of Dafabet, Nextbet and Zipang Casino, among others.
The deal calls for Pinnacle Solution to supply its eSports iFrame API to Asian BGE’s gaming brands. The iFrame includes a sportsbook skin, mobile-compatible site and risk management service.
While eSports’ popularity is rising in Western markets, it enjoys a much wider following across Asian markets, making it a welcome alternative to Asian-facing bookmakers’ traditional sports offering.
Pinnacle was an early advocate for the potential of the eSports betting market, having taken its first eSports wager way back in 2010. Pinnacle offers an extensive range of eSports markets, its traders are experienced and its odds benefit from Pinnacle’s famously low margins.
Pinnacle’s eSports offering has won industry honors from the likes of SBC News and eGaming Review, so small wonder then that the company touted its eSports experience when it launched the Pinnacle Solution B2B division in April.
Pinnacle COO Jane Guan celebrated the Asian BGE deal by saying signing with “one of the biggest names in the industry underlines the fact that Pinnacle Solution is a trusted partner for leading operators.”
Asian Logic marketing director Nikos Diakoumopoulos logrolled back, saying the “quality and flexibility of the Pinnacle Solution product offering was the driving force behind this partnership.”
Pinnacle (the bookmaker) withdrew its UK gambling license application the month after the B2B launch, despite the company’s announced switch to a strategy focused on regulated market expansion. Pinnacle Solution has hinted that it’s exploring options and potential B2B partners in America’s newly legal sports betting environment.
