Evolution Gaming has teamed with UK-based game supplier iSoftBet to launch Romania’s first official live dealer studio.
On Thursday, Evolution announced that it was putting the final touches on the new studio, which will be based out of the Grand Casino Bucharest, one level below the main gaming floor.
The facility, which is set to go live later this month, will be the first certified live dealer studio to operate in Romania’s newly regulated online gambling market and iSoftBet says its Romanian clients will be offered a selection of Evolution’s core games streamed live to their desktop, smartphone or tablet.
NETENT LAUNCH LIVE MOBILE
In other live dealer news, gaming technology provider NetEnt is pleased as punch to announce the launch of its Live Mobile product. Available for both iOS and Android devices, Live Mobile’s features include the ability to place a bet during a spin of the roulette wheel, “just like at land-based casinos.”
Live Mobile also features a “unique portrait mode feature” for people who find holding their phone horizontally too challenging. NetEnt clients can also employ customized 3D-branded backgrounds courtesy of NetEnt’s Chroma Key technology.
PLAYTECH FINDS SOME USE FOR POKER
Finally, gaming tech behemoth Playtech has launched a live version of the “world-renowned” 21+3 Blackjack side bet via a licensing deal with Games Marketing, the product’s exclusive online rights holder.
For the uninitiated, 21+3 combines blackjack with a poker side-bet. If a player’s two cards and the dealer’s up card make a poker hand – three of a kind, straight, flush, straight flush, suited three of a kind – then the player collects the side bet payout with enhanced odds, including up to 100x the value of your side bet for a suited three of a kind.
