Paddy Power unveils B2B partnerships in Spain and Canada

Paddy Power unveils B2B partnerships in Spain and Canada Irish gambling operator Paddy Power has announced several B2B partnerships to provide its sportsbook product in Spain and Canada.

Paddy Power renewed its contract with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) to provide fixed odds sports betting in the Canadian province of British Columbia, a continuation of an agreement that started since 2012.

Cian Murphy, Paddy Power’s Head of B2B services, noted that they are really happy with the opportunity to continue their partnership with BCLC, saying that Paddy Power’s sports betting product has contributed significantly to BCLC’s market growth over the past three years.

”Paddy Power’s expertise has helped BCLC’s PlayNow.com evolve its sportsbook into a competitive offering that provides the best possible sports betting experience in a regulated environment,” said BCLC Vice-President of eGaming Monica Bohm. “We look forward to continuing this relationship and future growth in this segment.”

Paddy Power has also announced a new partnership to supply its sportsbetting product to Spanish betting company Reta.

“It’s very exciting to get to work with a dynamic and fast growing business like Reta. Xabier and his team have built a great business which is well positioned to be a market leader within Spain and we are delighted to get the chance to add to their success. We are confident that Spanish punters will benefit hugely from the range of events and markets that we can offer them,” said Murphy.

RETA Group CEO Xabier Rodriguez-Maribona said that the agreement is RETA’s next step to maintaining its leadership in the Spanish retail channel and would put RETA’s constantly growing online products and services in the top positions.

The two deals followed the extension of Paddy Power’s existing partnerships with French sports betting operator Pari-Mutuel Urbain (PMU) and Slovakia-based bookmaker Niké.

Paddy Power has also announced that it had joined the World Lottery Association as an associate member, indicative of Paddy Power’s dedication to constantly expanding its business by the provision of comprehensive betting services to the global lottery industry.
