Playtech launch Caliente casino, upgrade Winner Bingo, extend Hills bingo deal

playtech-caliente-virtue-fusion-william-hillOnline gambling software suppliers Playtech have launched their casino products via the online site of Mexican gaming operator Grupo Caliente. Playtech announced its new relationship with Caliente in August and the Mexican operator’s Kahnawake Gaming Commission-licensed Caliente.mx site is now live. While the site and Caliente’s new mobile app list sports betting and live betting options, at present, only the casino vertical (including live casino) is active and only for Mexican customers. A full product rollout is expected in short order.

Closer to home, the Playtech-powered Winner site has upgraded its desktop and mobile bingo platform. Winner Bingo launched the revamped product on Friday, unveiling a completely new look and additional side games for when players get (under the b) bored with the mainstay product. Winner.co.uk, which was recently awarded a new UK Gambling Commission license via Playtech subsidiary PT Entertainment Services, signed on last month as the official betting partner of English Premier League side West Ham United.

Finally, Playtech’s bingo-focused subsidiary Virtue Fusion has re-upped with UK bookies William Hill. The two firms have had a bingo relationship since 2007 and the new four-year pact will see Hills’ bingo offering remain on the Virtue Fusion network until 2018. Playtech Bingo COO Dan Philips expressed delight at being able to keep Hills in the fold, calling the extension “a real endorsement of our market-leading, multi-channel bingo product and the industry’s biggest and best performing bingo network.” Other UK bookies making a bingo home on Virtue Fusion include Bet365, Gala Coral and Paddy Power.
