The UK Competition and Markets Authority said that Jumpman Gaming and Progress Play have agreed to scrap withdrawal restrictions for their customers. |
|||||
CMA hopes that more gambling sites will follow suit. |
|||||
Both sites required some customers to withdraw their account funds in stages over an extended period and to get funds from so-called ‘dormant’ accounts. The CMA singled out Progress Play for confiscating money from customers just because they failed to provide information within a specific time frame. The UK Gambling Commission reminded online licensees that they need to toe the line “or face action.” |
