Various newspapers reported that six casinos applied for multi-vertical online gambling licenses in Pennsylvania ahead of Monday’s initial deadline.
Each online gambling license goes for $10m a pop.
The operators of the Parx Casino, Mount Airy Casino Resort, Live! Hotel and Casino, Rivers Casino, Philadelphia’s SugarHouse Casino, and Hollywood Casino submitted their applications for the license that would allow them to offer online slots, table games, and poker. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board also offers product-specific online gambling product licenses for $4m each.
