Live dealer casino specialist Evolution Gaming has inked a six-year deal to incorporate Games Marketing‘s proprietary games content and side bets into Evolution’s offering.
The six-year deal expands on the companies’ existing relationship, which incorporated the London-based Games Marketing’s side bets into Evolution’s Live Blackjack product. The new deal adds six titles from Games Marketing’s 40-game portfolio, the first of which will begin to appear on Evolution’s offering later this year.
Evolution recently appointed Martin Carlesund (pictured) as the new CEO of Evolution’s Malta operations. Carlesund, who previously served as CEO of the Highlight Media Group affiliate operation, will report directly to Evolution CEO Jens von Bahr. Evolution launched its Malta studio last year to complement its 1,000-strong staff at its primary hub in Latvia. Von Bahr said the appointment would allow him to “focus solely on building long-term shareholder value on group level.”
Evolution is preparing to launch its new live dealer studio in Belgium’s Casino de Spa by the end of this month. The Belgian Gaming Commission has warned all live dealer outfits currently supplying services to BGC- licensed operators that they must have Belgian-based studios up and running by July 1 or both they and their clients will face the BGC’s wrath.
In other live dealer news, European sports betting operator GoldBet has inked an Italian market deal with live dealer casino games provider Medialivecasino. The new Goldbet.it website will offer fully branded live roulette, blackjack and baccarat tables to complement the company’s 985 Italian betting shops. Goldbet Italy managing director Paola Bausano said the company selected Medialive because of its Italian market live dealer experience.
