Gaming and lottery technology supplier Scientific Games Corp. has extended its relationship with Danish online casino and lottery operator Danske Spil.
Under the agreement, Danske Spil will utilize Scientific’s remote game server in the Danish ‘dot country’ online wagering jurisdiction.
Danske Spil players will now have online access to land-based slots and table games from Scientific Games companies such as Bally, Barcrest, Shuffle Master and Williams Interactive.
The launch of Scientific Games’ igaming products in Denmark is another milestone for the company, with its games available in New Jersey and Delaware and across a number of European jurisdictions and in Canadian provinces.
The games have been delivered through bwin.party’s platform, which powers Danske Spil’s online casino offering.
“The interest in our content from another regulated online gaming market is a testament to the broad player appeal of our proprietary slots and table game themes,” said SG Vice President of Commercial Bob Hays.
“We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Scientific Games by extending our casino offering and strengthening our position as marked leader in a very competitive Danish market,” added Danske Spil’s head of casino, poker and games, Søren Schneider. “The wide array of player-popular casino games to which we have access through their game server heightens the entertainment we’re able to offer our players at home and on-the-go,” he said.
