OlyBet and Playtech have inked a deal that will see Playtech become Olympic Entertainment Group’s (OEG) exclusive casino provider, supporting its expansion into the Baltic States.
OEG continue with their OlyBet makeover after shaking hands on a deal that will see Playtech become the online casino provider of choice on the OlyBet network.
OlyBet started to smack a different type of lip gloss on it’s puckered paunches after changing it’s name from Olympic-Online, when it launched the new look on August 2013, and this move strengthens that rebranding exercise.
Kaido Ulejev, OlyBet General Manager, said, “With the help of Playtech, we are launching something truly unique to support our land based casino and sports bar operations, as OlyBet provides the region’s greatest selection of online casino games, delightful poker interface, the best selection of events and the most favorable odds for sports betting.”
OlyBet, and the Olympic Casino brands, are subsidiaries of OEG – the main supplier of casino entertainment in the Baltic States.
Shay Segev, Playtech COO, commented, “Playtech is thrilled to take part in OlyBet’s launch and is delighted about the opportunity to work with OlyBet as they enter the regulated markets of Estonia and Latvia. We are pleased OlyBet has chosen Playtech as their exclusive casino provider and are confident that our offering in the casino space will allows OlyBet to reach its goals and revenue targets.“
The news comes just weeks after OlyBet secured a license that enables them to offer a sports betting product in Lithuania. This means OEG now have sports betting options available to customers in Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia.
OEG was created in 1993, and currently houses the employment of over 500 people, is a full member of the European Casino Association and a major sponsor of the Estonian Olympic Committee.
