The move marks the first time Evolution’s market-leading live dealer product has made an appearance on a screen not attached to a personal computer or mobile device. Although it calls Spain home, Codere earns most of its bones from its operations in Argentina and Mexico and Evolution’s live roulette offering is now available on networked EGMs in select Codere gaming halls, with a broader rollout across Latin America – and potentially in Europe – expected to follow.

European online bookie BetVictor recently made good on its promise to launch its in-house live dealer casino from its base in Gibraltar. The roulette, blackjack and baccarat offering, developed with the help of Italian provider Medialive Casino, has gone live on BetVictor.com featuring 40 croupiers the company has labeled ‘dealer-tainers.’ Players can use a chat window to talk with their croupiers, who can/will respond verbally (their hands are busy, don’t you know). BetVictor Live Casino Operations Manager David Pritchard said the team of croupiers included “some real personalities” that he expects will “prove to be very popular with our customers.”

Paddy Power recently revamped its live casino offering courtesy of software providers Playtech. Paddy formerly utilized Evolution Gaming’s live dealer product, but opted instead for a branded room streamed from Playtech’s Latvian gaming studios. The new offering is available via desktop as well as smartphone and tablet devices running either iOS and Android.

Finally, Costa Rica-licensed live dealer casino supplier PlayPearls Limited has decided to broaden its horizons with the launch of its own online gambling site, Bet Realm. PlayPearls CEO Vesa Ylipyky said the medieval-themed casino, which features live casino games along with PlayPearls’ portfolio of HTML5 RNG games, “sets a new and exciting benchmark in quality online casino solutions” and establishes a model for future white label provisions.
