32red logo 132Red has seen another impressive six months as the company continues its legal battle with William Hill. Total revenue increased by 42% for the first half of the year as the figure hit £11m. That included a notable increase in casino revenue of 41% to £9.5m and the bingo and emerging products yielding revenue of £0.3m, an increase of 165% on last year. For the first two months of the current period, revenues have continued their increase and now sit at 51%. 32Red confirmed that the appeal hearing for their case with William Hill is all set for December later this year.

Maltese-based Swedish gaming industry firm Betsson has signed its second partnership with a football club. They followed up last month’s agreement with Arsenal by signing a two-year deal with Maltese champions Valletta. The deal will see Betsson’s branding carried on the team’s home and away jersey. There is also the news that the Swedish firm has had to pay the first additional installment of €15m after Betsafe met certain targets. As part of the deal, finalized back in June, they could also be subject to an additional €12.5m charge if the firm continues its successes.

Gala Coral is set to shut down its Eurobet.com brand by the end of this month and has urged customers to withdraw their money from the site. It will only affect the dot.com site and has been brought on by regulatory changes in Spain and Greece. A spokesman confirmed to eGaming Review that, “The Italian operations will remain unaffected. Eurobet.it is separate and fully licensed in Italy, where we also have a high-street presence.”
