As far as online sports betting sites go Bet365 continue to make an impression on those looking at the entire sports betting industry, and they’re almost certain to end the year on a high.
The gambling industry has seen plenty of twists and turns as a number of online sports betting sites have tried to challenge the privately owned Bet365. Unfortunately, for their publicly owned competitors, they’ve been shit out of luck.
The Oddschecker rankings for the penultimate month of the year were published on eGR earlier today, and although they show Betfair closing the gap, Stoke-on-Trent based Bet365 are still the clear leader. With a market share of 16.2% they are in front of Betfair by almost 3%, as the recently floated company have 13.3%, Stan James way back in third on 9.9%.
Whilst they review business operations, Ladbrokes won’t be included in December’s ranking, and their market share of 9.6% will be redistributed amongst the rest of the top ten.
With Betfair looking as though its on the ropes in regard to their share price, Bet365 could enjoy yet more unprecedented growth, after owner Denise Coates reiterated her desire to stay a private company.
