Intralot seeks refuge in Russian bookmaker Kelicom

If things are going tits up at home, take your money abroad. That’s what the Nazis did during the Second World War and that’s what Intralot are doing now that Greece’s economy has disappeared down the toilet. The Greek gaming operator has already vowed to apply for a French gaming licence even if the returns are about as favourable as a night out with Susan Boyle and now thay have decided to get into bed with the Russians by acquiring a 33% stake in Kelicom, the majority shareholder in Russia’s Favorit Bookmakers and holder of a five-year licence to run sports betting across the country.
