Sweden’s Spelinspektionen regulatory body has imposed a SEK700k (US$74k) fine against the operator of Lottoland.se gambling site for offering products beyond what is covered by its license. Spelinspektionen said Lottoland.se was offering online scratch cards and betting on the Eurojackpot lottery in violation of its local license, both violations of its license. While Lottoland has since changed its offering, the regulatory body said the company deserved the penalty because it committed the violations for far too long.
