The Story

Anna Bergius and Claes Ruthberg have stepped down from the Cherry AB board after their alleged involvement in an insider trading case was uncovered by the Swedish Economic Crime Authority.

Holmgren has been accused of buying a significant number of the company's shares prior to the release of a favorable Q1 earnings report. The resignations have soured what could have been a sweet report of Cherry AB’s profit growth during the first six months of the year.
