The Story

For the fifth consecutive month, Nevada casinos reported an increase in their gross gaming revenue, as evidenced by a 4.2% increase for June.

Nevada is lucky for the performance of its table games.

Slot machine revenue declined by 3.3% in June, taking in just $472.5m, while gaming terminals, penny slots, and quarter slots all reported losses. The decrease in revenue, however, was offset by increased revenue from table games. According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, table games revenue increased by 15%, amounting to $339.8m.
