Does this guy still have time for hobbies? Yes…and it’s “pottery.”
He had wanted to try it ever since he saw the movie Ghost. In 2000, his wife made it a project to find the best place for him to learn and they found The Cahuenga School of Pottery.
Cahuenga School of Pottery, also known as the Berman Ceramic Arts, is a highly recognized school for pottery instruction in the Los Angeles area. The Studio City Sun Times called it as “an artist’s haven”—a creative arena you may never have heard of—before now.
This weekend, Nov 15th to 16th, the Berman Ceramic Arts will hold its annual holiday sale at 5622 Cahuenga Blvd. North Hollywood, California from 11 am–5pm.
I. Nelson Rose will exhibit his entry pieces at the holiday sale and will be joined by other ceramists such as Harry Berman, Debra Farra, Marsha Childs, Lynn Wosk, Warren Jacobs and many more. These artists will fill the studio with new and exciting works, a variety of early-folk style vessels to flowing contemporary sculpture and some with a touch of whimsy to more lyrical pieces.
The pieces that will be shown in the event will be perfect for gift giving and home display. If you are an artist, a collector, an enthusiast or maybe just around the corner, this is an event you should not miss.
Be early to make the first selection.
