Global casino gaming entertainment provider IGT has announced a new partnership with City of Dreams Manila to provide the integrated resort and casino with its top-quality systems solutions. The deal allows City of Dreams Manila to use a handful of IGT’s world-class products, including the IGT Advantage systems, the sbX Floor Manager and the Service Window.
“City of Dreams Manila has carefully selected the latest and greatest innovations, technologies and amenities for its lavish new resort and the choice of IGT systems is no exception,” Mark Michalko, IGT Director of Sales, Asia, said in a statement. “We’re driving player excitement with personalized communication on the casino floor, combined with IGT’s extensive game library with flexible bonusing technology in a variety of themes.”
With the IGT systems in place, City of Dreams Manila will be able to tap into a wide range of industry solutions and applications when it officially opens this year. The IGT Advantage system allows the resort and casino to provide Machine Accounting, Advantage Monitor, Patron Management and the Visual Slot Performance tools, further highlighting the robust and state-of-the-art industry technologies placed inside the City of Dreams.
In addition to these tools, City of Dreams Manila also tapped into IGT’s Tournament Manager with 52 IGT video poker machines, as well as the first installation of IGT’s EZ Pay Mag Card in Asia, giving customers and players a card-based cashless option when they’re inside the premises of the resort and casino.
Meanwhile, Kazuo Okada’s Tiger Resorts and Leisure Entertainment gears up to hire as many as 8,000 employees to staff the first phase of Manila Bay Resorts after Tiger Resorts announced its plan to move the opening of the resort and casino to late 2015.
“I’m sure we will find the right people but what we want to do is to be selective. We want to find the right people with the right attitudes,” Adrian Ort, senior vice president and general manager of the hotel and food & beverage operations, told Inquirer.
