In Game 2 of the NBA Finals, the Warriors defeated the Cavaliers for a seventh straight time after a blowout victory 110-77 on Sunday at Oracle Arena. This 33-point loss is the Cavs worst of the season and the first time Lebron James has lost seven straight games to the same opponent.

And as if the Cavs were not having a bad enough day, Kevin Love was hit in the back of the head by Harrison Barnes after the two went for a rebound midway in the second quarter.

Love stayed down for a few minutes but continued to play, only to leave in the third quarter after experiencing dizziness. Cleveland issued an injury update saying that Love was placed under the league’s concussion protocol.

Love had five points on 2-for-7 shooting in 20 minutes.

Warriors’ forward Draymond Green and the Splash brothers Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry were the catalysts on the offensive end of the floor. Green finished with a game-high 28 points while Curry and Thompson added 18 points and 17 points respectively.

The Cavaliers converted only five of their 23 three-point tries and committed 17 turnovers that resulted in points for the Warriors.

James, who had a subpar game, scored 14 of his 19 points in the second and also finished with 9 assists and 8 rebounds. Point guard Kyrie Irving and reserve forward Richard Jefferson also reached double figures in scoring.

Game 3 of the NBA Finals moves to The Q in Cleveland on Wednesday but even at the home Cavs’ home court, the Warriors are a 1- point to win third game while Cleveland are once again a betting underdog at 1+ point.
