New slot app for Apple Watch ready for real-money gaming

Chicago-based game developers of new slot app for Apple Watch are ready to jump on the real-money gaming train.

New slot app for Apple Watch ready for real-money gamingGaming developers Leading Edge Design (LED) Gaming have teamed with Purple Gator on the launch of Double Luck Nudge, a casino-style slot app available for the Apple Watch.

Purple Gator CEO Andrew Nadhir said that the new app provides an “immersive” experience similar to playing a real casino slot machine using sounds, visuals and math models of traditional slot machine games in addition to Apple Watch’s prominent haptic feature, which generates small vibrations for notification alerts.

“Really, you’re bringing the casino right to your watch,” Nadhir added.

For now, Double Luck Nudge is just a free-play slot app but Steve DeMar, director of business development at LED Gaming, believes that online gambling will soon be legal in the US and when that happens, the new app will be ready to meet the players’ demand and accept payment transactions.

“We are closer than you think [to legalizing online gambling],” DeMar said. “The likelihood of it happening here is outstanding. The fear of missing out on tax revenue that other states will experience will probably be what tips the scales.”

Sports betting is the first one in the real-money gaming available for Apple Watch as UK gambling operators Ladbrokes and William Hill spearheaded the initiative to integrate their respective sports betting applications to change the way a user bets.

LED Gaming also looks at offering the new app’s real-money version to jurisdictions where online gambling is regulated such as Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware, as well as other countries like the UK.
