ESPN Coverage of the 45th Annual WSOP is About to Kick OffESPN coverage of the 45th Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) is just around the corner, meaning you don’t have to wait until the event has even finished to get the low down.

Did you miss the flight to Vegas this summer?

Are you itching to watch some WSOP action?

Then you are in luck.

On Tuesday 15th July, from 8–10 p.m. ET, ESPN will start its coverage of the 45th Annual WSOP with all the action from the final table of the WSOP National Championships.

This delicious entree took place over the Memorial Day Weekend and saw the heavyweights Dominik Nitsche, Athanasios Polychronopoulos and Matt Ashton take on the very best of the WSOP Circuit qualifiers for a first prize of $352,800.

It’s the first-time that a WSOP final table has been held, and filmed, outdoors, and the action will be broken down between two back-to-back hourly episodes.

Then on Tuesday 29th July you get the opportunity to watch the very best action from the biggest tournament of the year: THE BIG ONE FOR ONE DROP.

The $1m buy-in event will run for three consecutive weeks between 8-10pm ET and will showcase the talents of Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Galfond and Dan Colman; businessmen such as Paul Newey and Talal Shakerchi; and the odd celebrity such as Gabe Kaplan and Rick Salomon.

Then to end things on a high, coverage of the $10,000 Main Event will start on Sun Sep 28th, and will run between 9–11 p.m. ET for the next seven consecutive Sundays. Norman Chad and Lon McEachern will once again call the action and it promises to be one of the most interesting, and exciting, Main Events of recent years.
