Christina Lindley Wins the Venetian $200k and Ebony Kenney Joins Fighters SourceThe ladies of the poker world are taking center stage this week.

Yesterday, we brought you the news that Danielle Moon-Andersen was joining Team U over at Ultimate Poker, and today we bring you stories involving Christina Lindley and Ebony Kenney.

First to the former actress, model and now pretty much full time poker player Christina Lindley. The last time we were waxing lyrical about this lovely lady was when she joined us as a guest on the Female Perspective on Poker in Paris, where she finished fifth in the World Poker Tour (WPT) Grand Prix de Paris for $112,590.

This time we catch her hitting final tables at The Venetian in Las Vegas where she is doing rather well at the 2014 Deepstack Extravaganza I; making a final table at a $300 side event where she finished ninth, before walking away with the first prize in the $1,100 No-Limit Hold’em $200,000 Guaranteed Main Event.

Lindley agreed to a three-way chop before defeating Matt Stout in heads up action to take the first prize and the trophy for around $70,000 in prize money.

Ebony Kenney Joins Fighters Source as a Host

Next on our list of prominent female poker players is Ebony Kenney.

The model and poker player will be turning her hand to hosting as she signs a deal to become the host for the mixed martial arts (MMA) outfit Fighters Source (FS).

The former World Poker Tour (WPT) Ones to Watch will be joining the FS team to act as host/sideline reporter at the inaugural television season that FS Chief Operating Officer (COO) Anthony Medina hopes will result in the very first champion to represent the sport at the Olympic Games.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the sport of MMA might well be on its way to the Olympics and Fighters Source are doing everything they can to promote the idea including catapulting the face of Ebony Kenney into 100 million homes throughout the first season.
