Lottomatica and IGT go online in Italy; Betting Promotion reshuffles; GameOn Marketing go online for ICE

igt logoLottomatica and International Game Technology have signed a deal that will see the latter enter the Italian online slots market. IGT will supply Lottomatica with a full complement of online slots that adds to a contract the two already have in place covering 10,000 Italian VLTs. The new deal covers both online and mobile with IGT’s products available on smartphones and tablets. Guglielmo Angelozzi, senior vice president of gaming machines and online at Lottomatica, added: “We will provide Italian iGaming players with exciting, new game content while facilitating responsible play, which has always been, and is, an integral part of Lottomatica’s daily operations.”

Betting Promotion is refocusing its efforts on marketing and sales with a new Management Team being tasked with guiding them through the new period of growth. The Swedish-based company has appointed a new five-a-side team to take it forward with the major positions filled by a variety of different faces. Jonas Ornstein, one of the firm’s founders, takes the CEO position and long-term employee Oliver Zammit is the new CFO. Gaming industry veteran Richard Hogg is the new CMO with Ruchard Winterstellar appointed as Product Manager and Lars Berglund jumping aboard as the Market Manager.

GameOn Marketing is offering a brand new concept as part of their efforts leading up to ICE 2013. The firm are breaking with tradition and issuing online only press kits as opposed to paper ones and James Robbins, their commercial manager, added: “An Online Press Kit is simply the same as a traditional paper press kit but with the added benefit of everything hosted online. This obviously gives companies the advantage to include multimedia content as well as easily tapping in to social media networks to ensure industry professionals and journalists can access any breaking news quickly.”
