William Hill has inked a deal with Bet Smart Media for the Canadian company to run the show on their new US-facing website. It will bring together Hills’ US businesses under one-roof and is likely to include some kind of mobile functionality as this is one of Bet Smart’s specialties. The site, according to eGR, will include live score content from Bet Smart and bringing American Wagering, Cal Neva and Brandywine under one online roof will be considerably easier to manage financially. Dan Shapiro the company’s US marketing director said that it “will help drive visitation to our race and sports books and streamline the mobile registration process. This site gives us – by far – most dynamic web presence of any U.S. sports book operator,” he added before calling the company “first class”.
WMS Industries has invested in new technology facilities in order to keep up with the rest of the industry. Next month they’ll open the new Technology Development Centre in Illinois, where there’ll be space for 250 employees and a lot else besides. Board chairman and CEO Brian Gamache commented: “Our culture is a high performance innovation-driven culture. We rely a lot on collaboration and integration end to end. We built this building with that in mind.”
DoubleDown Casino has made IGT’s popular Cleopatra slot its latest social game. The game becomes the second IGT title to be launched after the same social casino brought Da Vinci Diamonds to the social airwaves last month. Robert Melendres, IGT executive vice president of emerging businesses added: “With its launch on DoubleDown Casino, Cleopatra fans now have another way to experience and enjoy their favourite game.”
