IGT announce sbX casino solution deal with Gala Casinos and Letter of Intent with Revel Group

IGT

IGTGaming machines manufacturer, International Game Technology (IGT) has had cause for double celebrations today.

First off, it announced how it has installed the first sbX casino management solution and player favourite Sex and the City Multi-Level Progressives (MLP) in the United Kingdom at Leo’s Casino, owned and operated by Gala Casinos, in Liverpool. Alright alright, calm down, calm down.

If you’re wondering what that means, IGT states that the sbX casino management solution will enable Leo’s Casino to bring what IGT call “cutting-edge gaming experiences” to their casino floor. Woohoo!

The Sex and the City MLP features IGT’s innovative and top-performing MultiPLAY game interface. It also offers players a chance at five progressives and four interactive bonus games. With each bonus game, players will get to watch video clips from the incredibly cringe-worthy HBO series – if they really want to, that is.

Rosanna Evans, Head of E-Gaming, Gala Casinos  said: “We are always looking for ways to provide our players with the very best gaming experiences possible and bringing these two premier IGT products to Leo’s Casino gives players something that they cannot find anywhere else in the United Kingdom.”

IGT’s second announcement might be right across the pond, but for them it proved just as exciting. Word on the street is that IGT has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Revel Entertainment Group to provide a complete systems solution for the resort’s casino floor in Atlantic City.

According to an IGT press release, when the resort’s doors open in spring of 2012, it will offer its guests the first fully networked casino floor featuring Media Manager on every game.

The release also stated that 40 percent of Revel’s casino floor will feature IGT machines, which is the highest percentage of any gaming manufacturer, and will include some of IGT’s most popular MegaJackpots themes.

Executive vice president at IGT’s North America Sales and Global Service, Eric Tom, said:.”IGT is extremely excited to work with Revel Entertainment Group as it opens an exceptional resort destination in 2012. This project will include IGT’s award-winning and industry-shaping products including unparalleled systems solutions and player-favorite games.”

Like Gala Casinos in the UK, Revel will also join in on IGT’s sbX customer base. And it’s no wonder Ravel are excited. As the industry’s first Gaming Standards Association (GSA) compliant server-based solution, IGT say sbX is “specifically designed to fit the needs of any casino floor.”

Congratulations to you all!
