Brett Favre’s Fall from Grace Continues

Urlacher Stands over Favre

Urlacher Stands over FavreBrett Favre to the best of our knowledge has retired once again. Of course, we’ll wait until the start of the 2011 NFL season before we make it official.

The beginning of the end came when the Bills Arthur Moats knocked Favre down and sprained his shoulder. The hit ended his ironman streak at 297 games.

Favre tried to comeback on a cold night in Minnesota against the Chicago Bears. It didn’t take more than a few series before Favre took another hit, this time from Corey Wootton, which left him motionless on the frozen turf of TCF Stadium. He remained on the bench with a concussion until the Vikings season was over.

Even the most casual sports fan would have wanted a better end for a fierce competitor like Favre. Winning a Super Bowl, winning a few games, anything would have been better than lying on the cold turf with a busted head.

Now it seems, the headache is the least of his worries or at least the real ache in his head because he has a completely new set of headaches to contend with.

Two former New York Jets massage therapists are suing Favre and the Jets for sexual harassment. The women claim that they lost their part time jobs with the Jets after complaining about sexually suggestive text messages from the former Jets quarterback.

Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole are seeking unspecified damages from Favre, the Jets and a Jets massage coordinator. Unspecified damages, usually means enough money that they won’t need to take a part-time job or even a full-time job for a loooong time.

Favre allegedly sent a text message reading, “Kinda lonely tonight, I guess I have bad intentions,” and another that says “Brett here you and crissy want to get together I’m all alone.” This is after the women had given Favre a massage for his aches and pains.

Scavo told her husband who then confronted Favre and allegedly, Favre gave the man the brush-off. Soon after, as the lawsuit contents, the women were fired.

This is all fresh off the Jenn Sterger complaints and subsequent non-punishment, punishment the NFL handed down to Favre.

This is bad news for Favre, as it will likely cost him some money, it will cost the Jets a lot of money and if Deanna Favre is smart it will likely cost him half of the money that he has in his bank account.

Favre needs to learn that there are professional women that specialize in lonely men. Some will even give you a massage if that’s what you really need.
