Fancy a piece of group action?The bad news about the World Cup is that there have been a lot of bad games. The good news is that there’s money to be made from them. Clearly the good teams aren’t nearly as good as we thought they were – just ask the Spaniards, who were 1/33 to win their group before the start of their unfathomable defeat to Switzerland yesterday – and the bad teams aren’t quite so pony. Switzerland, North Korea and New Zealand spring to mind. So perhaps punters need to back a few outsiders to get some more bang for their buck. Today sprightly South Korea take on Argentina at Soccer City and I’m not saying Huh Jung-Moo’s minnows are going to beat Diego Maradona’s all stars – although they do have a decent track record of giant-killing – but they should certainly qualify from their group.
