What a difference a year makes.
Probability today released figures for the first quarter of the fiscal year and their success shows no sign of dissipating. The mobile gaming specialists, who went through a torrid time at this point last year, saw net gaming revenue 45.6% higher than the same quarter last year. It was a figure lower than the period before but CEO Charles Cohen explained, Sharp eyed investors will note that Net Gaming Revenue for the quarter was slightly below that in the previous quarter, despite the increase in player deposits. This was due to a number of customers winning £10,000 – £20,000 each on some of our more popular Slots during May and June.”
Much of their success was down to the increased uptake of smart phone devices. This was reflected in player deposits rising by a staggering 82.6% compared with the previous year. The two most popular smart phones, iPhone and Android, also saw increased income up from 37% to 42% in this quarter.
The Swedish company also announced a commercial agreement with Grupo Caliente. Based in Tijuana, Mexico, it means Mexican customers will be able to play a full range of Probability movile bindo, slots and casino games across all platforms and networks.
On the deal, Cohen mused, “Our relationship with Caliente represents a completely new initiative and speaks to the untapped potential for our business to operate on a global scale.”
He continued, “We are very excited about this project and look forward to making it a success. “
As for the future, the release quoted Cohen as saying, “During the next quarter, we are expecting to launch our new mobile Bingo product after nearly six months development. This product is in the late stages of testing and regulatory approval. Further information will be provided to investors when this product is launched.”
