The Story
Encore Boston Harbor casino is facing another problem just after receiving a favorable revenue report shortly after its opening. A New York resident named Richard Schuster has filed a suit against Encore Boston claiming the casino cheated players by skewing its blackjack payout odds and skimming money from the slot winnings. The casino issued a terse response stating that, “since opening, Encore Boston Harbor follows the Massachusetts Gaming Commission regulations for blackjack payouts.” While Schuster claims that he filed a class suit, it’s unclear if anyone has joined Schuster in the claims he’s made.
