The Story

After patching things up (legally, of course) with his ex-wife, Elaine, Steve Wynn faces the possibility of selling his shares in the casino company he founded, Wynn Resorts.

While he can sell his shares, Steve has a little problem.

According to the casino operator, the 2010 shareholding agreement between the former Mr. and Mrs. Wynn has been terminated.  This means that both parties are now free to sell their stocks in the company. While Mrs. Wynn earlier said that she is willing to sell her 9.4% stake, things won’t be as easy for Steve. An agreement with Wynn Resorts stipulated that the former Wynn CEO is barred from selling more than one-third of his company shares. With the backlash from allegations of sexual harassment still unrelenting, divesting his shares seems to be another way for Steve to shield his company from further losses.
