The Chinese Ministry of Culture has banned all poker playing apps, triggering a chain of events that will greatly affect the Asian poker community. 

 

The beginning of the end for poker tilts in Macau.

The first company to cave into the pressure was Alisports, which postponed the International Poker Tour (IPT) stop in Macau until further notice. The HK$5m GTD Main Event was scheduled to take place at the Venetian on May 16-20.
