The latest Seton Hall Sports Poll revealed that Americans want individual states, not the federal government, to control legal sports betting. |

The survey also showed favorable majority opinion on legal wagering. |
|||||
About 62% of respondents believe that state governments should be overseeing legal sports betting activity if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns the longtime federal betting ban. Also, it was found that 55% of respondents favor legalized betting versus just 35% who are opposed. Men (63%) and those aged 18-29 (68%) have also expressed support for legalized sports betting. |
