Digital wagers are expected to increase by 11.8% in 2018 due to the introduction of new products and favorable online gambling laws in various countries.

However, Lottery Commission chief counsel Danielle Boyd told legislators that the leagues’ returns from a 1% cut of handle would likely exceed the state’s 10% tax on operator revenue.
