And there you have it…the rumor has been confirmed: Victory Poker has officially joined the Cake Poker Network! Personally I could not be happier as I adore the Cake Network and Victory Poker teams, and both parties are very excited about the partnership and looking forward to their future of working together.
Over the past few days I had the pleasure of personally speaking with Cake and Victory about move. Andrew Turner, Marketing Director of Cake Network said, “We are very excited to welcome Victory Poker to the Cake Network. Victory Poker is a great partner and we look forward to supporting their continued growth on the Cake Network. Although Victory is a relatively new brand in the online gaming space they are quickly making their mark through aggressive marketing, unique promotions and their Team Victory Players”.
For a deeper look into what’s going on behind the scenes, Dan Fleyshman, Victory Poker CEO, was able to find time in his crazy schedule to do a quick interview about the move to Cake Network and the next chapter for Victory Poker:
Becky: Why did you decide to make the switch from Everleaf to Cake?
Dan: I really was happy with the passion of the team at Everleaf but I felt like Cake could handle all things that I wanted deep down inside…they have a Malta license, great Gold Points rewards, over 100 employees, management that I see working hard at all the conventions and loads of guaranteed tournaments!
Becky: What are some of the contributions you plan to make to the Cake Network?
Dan: I’m really excited to do promotions with them, they are already successful, but I want to help build that whole network on a global scale.
Cake is now the only network with household name pros representing the individual skins. They have everyone from Doyle to Ziigmund and Unabomber with their individual skins on the network along with my team of 20 pros and growing. This is going to create a lot of action in the higher stakes games and its also going to create loads of experiences for the players that want to battle the various pros.
Becky: How do you plan to celebrate this very exciting move? Knowing the Victory Poker crew, you’ve got something pretty good planned…
Dan: Three days after the Cake launch party/my birthday we’re doing a photo shoot that the Cake Network and the rest of the world is going to love. 😉 Sara Underwood, Emma Glover, Rosie Jones and Victoria Moore are going to be shooting a full fledged Cake fight…
Becky: Anything else that you’d like to add?
Dan: I’m really excited, there’s going to be a lot of fun things to do with Cake and I’m excited for the players to be able to have all these tournaments and games to choose from!
Moral of Story: When it comes to industry rumors, Becky knows what she’s talking about! 😉
