English football fans obviously haven’t learnt that if they back something to the hilt, it usually doesn’t make a crumb of difference. To hear that odds have been cut to 4/5 on England holding the 2018 World Cup, which makes them favourites ahead of Russia who stand at 5/2, is no surprise.
Bet Fred spokesman Mark Pearson commented, “Punters are only backing one bid and that’s England’s. Let’s hope the punters are right that
football is finally coming home.”
