Southampton have become everyone’s second favourite football team after following in the footsteps of UFC by banning the vuvuzela from their ground next season. While this decision must be heartily applauded you have to suspect that the “influx of requests” for the horns of plenty might have in fact come from scheming Pompey supporters. Unconfirmed rumours have it that Arsenal may follow suit and adopt the same approach to highly annoying attention-seeking noise-makers – and ban Piers Morgan from their ground. Read more.
