Hordes of European poker players are descending on London’s Grosvenor Victoria Casino for the European Poker Tour London, which got underway Tuesday with the kickoff of the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) Grand Final Main Event. But the real action begins Sunday, March 10 with the EPT London £5k + £250 Main Event, the winner of which will be crowned Saturday March 16. Last year’s winner, Benny Spindler, earned a healthy £750k for topping a 691-strong field.
While winning the crown and the hefty check would be nice, let’s be honest: unless you’re a pro or you hit the run-good streak of your life, your chances of taking top honors aren’t that great. In fact, odds are you’re likely to bow out the same day you buy in. But fret not, for the fine fellows at the Bodog Poker Network are offering free entry to their Anonymous Poker Series event in London to anyone who busts out of the EPT London main event on either Day 1A or 1B.
Bodog Poker’s EPT London Kick-out event is happening March 12 at a central London location. All entrants will receive a Bodog goodie bag, drinks and dinner, with the eventual winner earning a seat at the $100k Grand Final in Manila next January, along with airfare for you and a friend. If you are unfortunate enough to bust out of the EPT London on Day 1A or 1B, turn that scowl into a howl and email [email protected] for your free entry into the EPT London Kick-out sit ‘n go tourney.
