JCM Global change top management; Scientific Games to provide 3D lottery tickets; TCSJOHNHUXLEY gain two awards

JCM Global Scientific Games TCSAutomated transactions supplier, JCM Global, has announced changes to its top management structure in its EMEA offices in Germany. JCM Global’s EMEA Director of Sales Payam Zadeh has been promoted to General Manager and will direct all future business processes and drive the overall direction of JCM in the EMEA region.

Additionally, JCM has appointed Nobuyuki Sato as its EMEA Managing Director. Coming from the company’s headquarters in Tokyo, he will be responsible for JCM EMEA business development and will work in concert with Zadeh on daily operations of the EMEA team.

JCM Global President, Akiyoshi Isoi, said: “The combination of Payam Zadeh and Nobuyuki Sato will be extremely beneficial to our EMEA team, and most importantly, to our customers throughout this very exciting region.”

JCM’s EMEA operation started the year with a big win, being named “Best Street Supplier of the Year” at the Totally Gaming Awards 2012. JCM was also nominated as “Payment Solutions Provider Company of the Year” in the International Gaming Awards.

 

Scientific Games has announced it will be the lottery industry’s provider of Micromotion, a patented printing technology that creates the illusion of movement like that of holographic ticket stock.

Micromotion allows logos, play symbols and other game images to appear and move in three-dimension when the instant game ticket is viewed from different angles.

Jeff Martineck, Vice President of Instant Product Development for Scientific Games, said: “Micromotion™ is the newest, light reflecting value-add for lottery instant game tickets. Offering a limitless combination of light-reflecting patterns and effects, it’s a very cost-effective way to create visual impact at retail and offer a premium play experience.”

Scientific Games adapted the proprietary Micromotion printing technology to lottery instant game tickets after the Company’s research showed that games featuring light reflection experienced 9% on average greater sales than comparable instant games in the market.

 

After appointing its Global CEO in November last year, two TCSJOHNHUXLEY products have been chosen by the Casino Enterprise Management’s inaugural Awards for International Table Games as winners. The Best Hybrid Table Game: MultiPLAY System and the Best Table Game Management System: Gaming Floor Live awards were granted to the company, selected by an expert panel of judges that included Julie Allen, director of regulatory compliance at Ameristar Casino-Hotel Kansas City and Rosemarie Cook, vice president of table games at SugarHouse Casino.
