Ivey, who runs roughshot over noobs and pros alike over at Full Tilt, did most of his damage to online player Kagome Kagome (formerly known as IHateJuice), who’s 311-hand losing streak to Ivey at the $3,000/$6,000 limit hold ’em tables was the talk of trades.
The win notches Ivey back into the black for the year after the 35-year-old pro hit a rough patch last month and started the year off more than $600K in the hole. Yet with this win, the New Jersey Native once called “No home Jerome” is already up $300,000 for the year.
At this stage in his career, Ivey has never booked a losing year online, and PokerListings.com speculates that his online cash game winnings could exceed $18 million in pure profit.
