Seth Palansky on The First US Interstate Compact of the Online Poker

Rebecca Liggero interviews Seth Palansky, VP of Corporate Communication of Ceasars Interactive Entertaiment as he talks about the first US interstate internet agreement between Nevada and Delaware.

Nevada and Delaware leaders signed a landmark agreement on February 24 that will join their states for online poker, potentially increasing payouts for residents who gamble while aiming to model how states might collaborate on an emerging economic opportunity.

The Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement signed by Gov. Brian Sandoval of Nevada and Gov. Jack Markell of Delaware in Wilmington establishes a legal framework for the first authorized interstate Internet gambling.

“It’s a really big deal it’s the first time two state in the United States have joined up and it’s really setting the blueprint for the blue print for the future of the igaming across the United States and hopefully linking globally with other market potentially,” said Palansky

“This is a big year for us for WSOP.com because we have mobile for the first time available now, mobile and tablet. WSOP.com is gonna have a full slate of offerings tied into the land-based event and we have our first ever online bracelet offering.” added Palansky.
