The 12th annual WhichBingo Awards will take place at HMS President (1918) Victoria Embankment in London on June 9th.
The event aims to reward and recognize the best online bingo company, as voted by online bingo players.
Shortlists have been officially announced in the nine publicly voted categories (click here for the list of the finalists) on May 7th and the voting ends on Friday 29th May.
Awards categories includes Best Online Bingo Site; Best New Online Bingo Site; Best Online Bingo Chat Team; Best Mobile Bingo Experience; Most Socially Responsible Bingo Operator; Best Boutique Online Bingo Site; Best Online Bingo TV Advert; Best Online Bingo Promotion; Best Unique Bingo Game; and Best Online Bingo Software.
This year, the WhichBingo Awards category of “Most Socially Responsible Bingo Operator” will be decided by judges, rather than a player vote.
The judging panel consists of independent experts who have vast experience in responsible gambling practices, problem gambling support, government legislation and corporate social responsibility issues.
Amongst the judges confirmed were Ron Finlay (CEO of Senet Group), Stella Dalton (Head of Education and Prevention at GamCare), Simo Dragicevic (Founder and CEO of Bet Buddy) and Professor Peter Jones (University of Gloucestershire).
Last year’s event was a huge success, with over 17,000 votes cast to help find the best performers of the year across 10 award categories.
The awards event will take place between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm, with complimentary drinks, canapes and the awards presentation itself hosted by Comedian and Star of the Winner Bingo adverts, Sanderson Jones.
This ticket-only event is free to all awards finalists, attendees of the Online Bingo Summit and invited industry guests only.
