Dominic Mansour joins the Rational Group as the Managing Director of Full Tilt Poker where he will report to the Rational Group COO Rafi Ashkenazi
The Rational Group, owners of the chalk and cheese siblings PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, have appointed Dominic Mansour as the new Managing Director of Full Tilt Poker (FTP).
The new appointee is the former CEO of the UK based Health Lottery as well as holding senior positions at GTECH G2, Netplay TV and Globalcom/WMC UK, and he is excited about his new responsibilities.
“Rational Group has big plans for Full Tilt and I’m excited to lead the charge,” said Mansour. “In addition to continuing to innovate on the popular poker platform, we’ll be introducing exciting new games to our players, all supported by the exceptional customer support, security and integrity of the Rational Group.”
Those big plans involve turning FTP into a fully integrated poker, casino and sports betting site – the first brand to do so under the rational Group umbrella.
The once mighty poker site already has Blackjack and Roulette options on its site after securing a deal with Leander Games to manage the transition into the online casino sector, and there are also plans afoot to expand into sports betting, something that our very own leader predicted back in 2012.
“Dominic’s experience aligns very well with our plans for Full Tilt,” said Rational Group Chief Operating Officer Rafi Ashkenazi. “He has strong commercial experience, a great marketing background, and first-class product knowledge across poker, casino and sports book. We’re very happy to have him on-board.”
Mansour will report directly to the Rational Group COO Rafi Ashkenazi and will assume his responsibilities on the 22nd April.
