After Borgata secured an online gambling permit in Atlantic City, other companies followed suit and so far there are five casinos that have been awarded licenses to offer online gambling. On November 26, New Jersey will unleash full-scale internet betting, expanding the boundaries of gambling which is why we decided to ask our readers which NJ Casino will have the most online success.

Leading the votes with 42% is the Borgata. Getting a head start in the game did them well. The Borgata’s online gambling partner, bwin.party said that the permit is not just a big step for the Borgata but for the entire gambling industry in New Jersey. They will run both bwin’s PartyPoker brand and Borgata-branded poker and casino sites.

Other got 22% of the votes. As November 26 draws closer, we will have to see what other companies get awarded licenses. If the Revel Casino-Hotel and the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel manage to find an online gambling partner, they might do really well when online gambling goes all out in New Jersey.

Golden Nugget received 13% of the votes. Golden Nugget will be offering online gambling under its own brand. It tapped Bally Technologies as its online technology partner, but as far as the services are concerned, Golden Nugget will seemingly handle all of that in-house.

10% of the votes went to Trump Plaza. Trump Plaza partnered with Betfair to offer Internet gambling. Betfair is one of Britain’s largest online betting companies, and it owns TVG, the platform provider for 4NJBets. That is the only horse racing account-wagering platform available to New Jersey residents.

Tropicana got 9% of the votes. Tropicana was the fifth to receive a license. The Tropicana has partnered up with Gamesys, which is set to run the casino’s online software platform. This will mark the first venture into the U.S. for Gamesys, which last year became the first company to offer real-money gambling through Facebook in the UK.

The Taj Mahal received 3% of the votes. The Taj Mahal chose to partner with Ultimate Gaming who began offering Internet gambling in Nevada this year.

Soon after, more companies will join the roster of those who have been awarded licenses to offer online gambling in New Jersey and after November 26, the uphill climb begins to see which NJ Casino will have the most online success. For next week’s poll, we ask our readers if Lock Poker will last another 6 months. Check back next week to see what our readers think.
