The deal marks the first time the Tote has added third-party pool betting product, and reflects Betfred’s goal of expanding the Tote’s pool betting scope beyond horse racing. TotelFootball allows players to build their own team of players from the world’s top talent, then these teams compete against each other over a weekend set of fixtures, with the top 10% of teams sharing the prize pool. TotelFootball’s biz dev director Keith McDonnell said working with Totepool.com “we can quickly drive liquidity which will transform an already great game into an attractive betting proposition offering high returns.”

The mobile division will be known as SMART and will feature a mix of existing and new titles powered by HTML5 and playable on both iOS and Android devices. The deal will allow Hills shops to offer promotions tailored to appeal to each shop’s customer type variations and preferred events.
