The company saw group net revenue rise 23 percent with PaddyPower.com recording a 21 percent rise in net revenue. Australian online turnover tipped the scales with a rise of 24 percent with mobile turnover in Oz accounting for 27 percent of total sportsbook stakes. Talking of mobile, PaddyPower.com saw mobile stakes rise to 45 percent with the most dramatic increases seen across their games portfolio. Mobile gross win in October was 28 percent for Paddy Power Casino (June: 19 percent) and 25 percent of Paddy Power Games (June: 20 percent). The latest results were accompanied with the news they intend to bring their distinctive green signage to even more venues across the country with 45 new shops in the UK by the end of the year.

Media Corporation’s interim CEO Adam Fraser-Harris has stepped down to “pursue other interests”. Phil Jackson will handle the day-to-day running of the firm until a new CEO is in place and it means that three bosses have now stepped down from the role in the past year. Commenting on the departure, Jackson said: “On behalf of the board and shareholders I would like to thank Adam for all his efforts over the last six months. He has been instrumental in resolving a number of legacy issues and problems facing the Company when we joined the board in May of this year. Through his efforts he has helped stabilize the Company to put it in a position to look forward; we wish him all the best in his future projects. Our search for a full time CEO is well under way and we look forward to announcing new appointments at the appropriate time. In the meantime I am excited about working in a more executive role and I am optimistic about future developments for the organisation and remain focussed on the pending launch of our Intabet platform.”

The deal will see GTECH G2 give players a full online sports betting solution through Marca.com using their Margin Maker software.
