concept-gaming-xpro-betsoft-playtechUK outfit Concept Gaming has inked a deal with XPRO Gaming to offer 15 full-size slot and keno games within the XPRO Live Dealer gaming product via the Concept Gaming ‘Pulse’ platform. The fusion of the two platforms has been up and running for a couple weeks without complaint. XPRO players will also soon be able to enjoy a 20-game mini portfolio that will be available for use even after players leave the XPRO gaming environment to use their computer for purposes other than gaming. Online slots developer BetSoft Gaming has released a mobile version of its popular three-dimensional Mr. Vegas game for both iOS and Android platforms. BetSoft head of product development Anthony Locke says the release of the 5-reel, 30-pay-line game is the first step in making all of BetSoft’s 100+ titles available for mobile gamers.

Just in time for the summer Olympic Games in London, software developer Playtech has launched Wild Games, an ‘Olympic-themed’ slot in which the human athletes are replaced by cheetahs, hippos and bulldogs, competing in such events as running, gymnastics and swimming. Bizarrely, there’s no ‘100-meter licking oneself’ event, but perhaps they’re holding that in reserve for the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro…

Australian hurdler Michelle Jenneke won’t be competing at the London Olympics, which is a damn shame, considering her obvious enthusiasm for the sport… and our own enthusiasm for watching her enthusiasm. Pity about the naff Eurodisco soundtrack, but that’s why God invented the ‘mute’ button…
